And Now From Asia: Fairy Drops Mascara

For our latest instalment of our cheery little series, we have a rather super mascara from Japan, called Fairy Drops Volume Burst Mascara. So-called because the bristle brush is designed to look like a stack of three round drops, which catches and paints all the lashes it possibly can.

I have a rather unusual gift, which is to be able to smudge almost any mascara down my cheeks by the end of the day, to look like either a highly dramatic teenager or a positively sleep-deprived call girl. I know, you’re all jealous. I’m just lucky, I guess. However, it means that when I can find a waterproof, film-forming mascara that doesn’t smudge but also looks better than some black paint slapped onto the lashes (horrible image, no?), I get rather excited. This mascara is long-lasting, volumizing without being clumpy, and as the package itself states, fabulous. I highly recommend.

Luckily for my US readers, Fairy Drops is available at Sephora, and for everyone else, on Amazon.
